Gallant Signs ATO with Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Merrimack Forward Mark Gallant has been signed to an amateur tryout contract by the Jacksonville Icemen as announced by the team on Wednesday evening. Gallant, a graduate student from Concord, Massachusetts played his lone season in a Warriors uniform this year, scoring five points in 35 games played. As an undergrad at Dartmouth, Gallant played in 75 games recording 29 points from 17 goals and 12 assists. The Jacksonville Icemen are the ECHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, and Mark will look to make his professional debut on March 22nd-23rd against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. For continuing...
