ATLANTA, Ga. -- Competing against some strong competition, Fort Valley State's Miniya Miller garnered the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week. Miller had the best performance for FVSU at the Bob Hayes Invitational in North Florida, placing third in the hammer throw at 43.62 meters and fifth in the discus at 38.69 meters. Miller and the Wildcats return to action this Friday and Saturday (March 22-23) at the Kennesaw State Don McGarey Invitational. -Wildcats-
