VCU TRACK AND FIELD AWARDED THREE ATLANTIC 10 WEEKLY HONORS

RICHMOND, Va. — Three VCU Rams took home Atlantic 10 Conference weekly awards in the opening week of the outdoor season, the league announced Wednesday. Junior John Casper won A-10 Men's Field Performer of the Week. Casper finished the weekend on top of the A-10 in the hammer throw (56.62 meters) and the discus (50.73) events. This is Casper's first weekly award of the outdoor season, but second in 2024. The junior thrower picked up one Field Performer of the Week citation this winter during indoor season.
