Jordan Sears transferring: 5 possible landing spots

The Wildcats will have a few open spots at guard next year. Reed Sheppard and Robert Dillingham are expected to be lottery picks in the NBA draft and fifth-year senior Antonio Reeves won’t return. Those three were Kentucky’s top regular-season scorers and the only other guard that averaged 10 or more points in 2023-24, D.J. Wagner, isn’t guaranteed to come back either. Adding a high-scoring guard like Sears would help mitigate those losses while providing veteran leadership to a group filled with first and second-year players.
