Rolla, Mo. – The Missouri Southern track & field teams will kick off their portion of the outdoor season this Friday and Saturday. They’ll head to Rolla, Missouri to compete at the Miner Invitational, hosted by Missouri S&T. Missouri Southern will have athletes competing in the opening event, the hammer throw, starting at 11:00am on Friday. The women will throw first, followed by the men. The men’s discus will kick off the field events on Saturday, starting at 9:00am. The women’s 3000m Steeplechase is the first running event, taking place at 11:00am on Saturday.
