Trey Taylor wins Howies Hockey ECAC Best Defenseman Award

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – ECAC Hockey is proud to name Clarkson’s Trey Taylor as the recipient for the Howie’s Best Defensive Defenseman Award for the 2023-24 season, as announced on Thursday night at the awards ceremony in Lake Placid, New York. The finalists for the award were Jayden Lee (Quinnipiac) and Hank Kempf (Cornell). In his sophomore season, Taylor showcased his abilities as a two-way defender, tallying three goals and 11 assists to lead the Golden Knights defense in scoring, while posting a favorable plus-minus of 14.
