Women’s tennis surges past Luther after early deficit

ORLANDO, Fla. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s tennis team rallied from a three-match deficit to defeat Luther College 5-4 on Thursday at the USTA National Campus. The Blugolds trailed 4-1 after five matches, but won the next four to seal the victory. UW-Eau Claire got four wins in singles. Samantha Fuchs (Jr. – DeForest, Wis.) prevailed 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1.
