TBILISI, Georgia -- Wayne State University men's fencer Ahmed Elsayed (Tanta, Gharbia, Egypt) competed at the latest International Fencing Federation (FIE) World Cup event on Friday at the Tbilisi Sports Palace in Georgia. It was the graduate student's fourth international appearance of the 2023-24 season. Elsayed previously saw action at the Bern World Cup in Switzerland (November 10-12), Vancouver World Cup in British Columbia, Canada (December 8-10), and Qatar Grand Prix in Doha, Qatar (January 30).
