Anthony Fitzgerald wins 100-breaststroke consolation final; earns second Honorable Mention All-America nod
Greensboro, N.C. — With an 11th-placed finish in this morning’s 100 yard breaststroke prelim at the NCAA Division III Championships, Wheaton’s Anthony Fitzgerald qualified for the consolation final of the event this evening and earned a Honorable Mention All-America recognition from the CSCAA as a result. This marked the second-consecutive Honorable Mention All-America nod for the senior swimmer in the 100 breast at the national championships, having collected the same distinction in 2023.
