AUSTIN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ baseball team fell 9-1 to Concordia in the first game of a three-game American Southwest Conference series on Friday night in Austin. The Tornados scored a run in the second and two more in the fourth and one in the fifth to take a 4-0 lead. They broke the game open with four runs in the sixth inning. HSU scored its lone run in the eighth inning on a Jett Forrest RBI single. Wyatt Tumlinson took the loss on the mound, falling to 2-4.
