Jackson Starts Outdoor Season With Win, Provo In Men’s 400 Hurdles
It didn't take senior Brenden Jackson long to pick up both a victory and a nationals provisional mark in the new outdoor track and field season. On Day 1 of the Kennesaw State's Don McGarey Invitational, Jackson not only won the men's 400-meter hurdles, but his time of 53.14 seconds is a provo mark for 2024 outdoor nationals, May 23-25 in Emporia, Kan.. Junior Jesse Houle also earned a new provo mark in placing second in the men's hammer throw at 58.48 meters/191-feet-10.
