Leininger, Gosz make first team

Germantown senior Lucy Leininger was named honorable mention All-State in Division 1 by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association in addition to earning first team all-Greater Metro Conference honors for the 2023-24 girls basketball season. Leininger led the Warhawks in scoring by averaging 20 points per game. She also provided 6.9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4.7 steals and 2.1 rejections per contest. Warhawk junior Danica Gosz joined Leininger on the GMC’s first team while averaging 17.2 points per tilt. She shot 82.4% from the foul line and 34.8% from long range.
