Mammoths in 23rd after Round One of Jekyll Island Collegiate Tournament

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — The Amherst College men’s golf team shot a collective 21-over 305 Friday in the first round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Golf Tournament played at the King and Prince Golf Course and also the Jekyll Island Golf Club. Amherst sits tied for 23rd after the first round. There are 30 teams competing in the event. Play continues Saturday and Sunday.
