Softball Swept by Hamilton in NESCAC-Opening Doubleheader
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – On a frigid afternoon with temps in the high 30’s, the Wesleyan softball team dropped both games in a home doubleheader against Hamilton, 5-0 and 5-4, on what was the NESCAC opener for both teams. Wesleyan drops to 6-8 on the season while the Continentals jump to 8-6. A four-run 1 st inning for Hamilton proved more than enough for starting pitcher Natalie Beebe who tossed a complete game shutout with no walks and seven strikeouts.
