Marcus Benjamin is a South Florida native with over ten years of experience working in sports journalism. The University of Miami held a press conference for the retirement of Head Women's Basketball Coach Katie Meier. Miami announced Thursday that she is retiring from her 19-year position to transition into a new role with Miami Athletics as a special advisor to the Vice President/Director of Athletics.
