MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Senior Carolina Andrade won the javelin as the throwers from the Amherst College women’s track and field team opened the outdoor season at the J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic on Saturday at Wesleyan University’s Andersen Track. The Mammoths return to action next weekend with a trip to Bryant University for the Black and Gold Invitational.
