Anthony Fitzgerald places third in 200 yard breaststroke final with new record time; earns second All-America honor

Greensboro, N.C. — The 2023-24 season concluded for Anthony Fitzgerald on Saturday evening, as the senior took part in the men’s 200 yard breaststroke event at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships in Greensboro. Fitzgerald posted a prelim time mark of 1:57.63 this morning to qualify for Saturday’s Championship Final, and he matched his third-place finish in the prelim this evening by taking third in the final field, as well.
