Comets Complete Series Sweep with 1-0 Shutout

RICHARDSON, Texas – The UT Dallas softball team finished off a three-game series sweep of Sul Ross State with a 1-0 blanking at UTD Softball Field Saturday afternoon. Junior pitcher McKenzie Cutbirth threw her third shutout of the season, stifling the Lobos (9-12) by allowing just two hits with three strikeouts. The Comets (13-7) would score the only run needed in the bottom of the third.
