AUSTIN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ baseball team was not able to generate any offense and fell 1-0 and 6-0 to Concordia on Saturday afternoon in an American Southwest Conference doubleheader. The first game was a pitcher’s duel as Cowboy starter Grant Mitzelfelt and Concordia Otto Franz battled it out. Mitzelfelt, who came out early in his last start against UTD and missed two straight starts, was back in the rotation and he limited the Tornados to one run on four hits in the hard-luck complete-game loss.
