Kennedy’s 79 paces Sewanee women in second round

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Junior Rylan Kennedy shot seven-over par 79 and junior Mary Browder Howell finished with an eight-over par 80 for Sewanee women’s golf in the second round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate on Saturday at Jekyll Island Golf Club in Jekyll Island, Ga. The Tigers shot 310 as a team in the first round but struggled to a 324 in the second round of Saturday, dropping from second to sixth in the team standings in the 54-hole event.
