Logger Lacrosse loses to Whitworth University, 16-5
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Puget Sound women’s lacrosse team suffered a 16-5 loss to the Whitworth University Pirates on Saturday in the Pine Bowl. The Loggers struggled to gain control while the Pirates grabbed 20 draw controls and the Loggers only managed four during the entire game. The Loggers had 15 shots, while the Pirates impressed with 39 shots and 25 shots on goal. Phoebe Crowther made eight saves and nine ground balls in the loss.
