SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Amherst College men’s golf team improved their first-round score by 13 strokes on Saturday in the second round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate at the par-71 King and Prince Golf Course. The Mammoths completed the second round with a team score of 292 (+8) for the day before inclement weather suspended play. The second round will be completed on Sunday morning beginning at 7:45 a.m. with the third and final round to begin immediately after.
