Men’s tennis falls to No. 39 CNU
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Averett University’s men’s tennis team lost 9-0 to No. 39 Christopher Newport University in non-conference action on Saturday. Nationally ranked CNU (7-3) won all three doubles matches. In singles play, junior Jaeden Mukkaladyil won the first set at No. 1 before dropping the next two in a tight matchup. Sophomore Sam Egui also went three sets at No. 3 singles, and sophomore Prabjeet Chandhok had a close loss in straight sets at No. 4. Averett (3-5) travels to Virginia Wesleyan University on March 30.
