Spartans outpace the field in Purgatory Intercollegiate

The Aurora University men’s golf team started the spring portion of their 2023-2024 schedule on a high note with a two-round score of 598 (294/304), good for a first place finish against ten other teams at the Purgatory Intercollegiate in Noblesville, Indiana. Jack Vercautren led the Spartans, shooting a two-over 146 which was tied for second among all players in the field. AU saw four different players place in the top 20 along the course of Friday and Saturday’s dominant showing.
