Three Cherokee County Girls Honored on All-Metro Team

A trio of Cherokee County girls basketball players were named to the Atlanta Tipoff Club’s all-metro list. Cherokee’s Toni Warren was honored on the second team, with River Ridge’s Kayla Cleaveland on the third team and Sophia Pearl and honorable mention. Grayson’s Danielle Carnegie and McEachern’s Ace Bailey were named Miss and Mr. Georgia Basketball, respectively. Buford’s Ava Grace Watson was named the Atlanta Metro High School Girls Player of the Year, while Grayson’s Gicarri Harris earned the boys award.
