Alayna Verner Hits Provisional Standard

San Diego, Calif. - Azusa Pacific track & field took a small group to San Diego State to compete in the Aztec Invitational on Saturday. The cold and rainy conditions did not stop a handful of Cougars from achieving provisional marks. In the 400m, Alayna Verner ran to a second-place finish in 54.08. Today's performance leaves the 10x All-American ranked No. 2 on the national qualifying list.
