JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga . – The Transylvania Women’s Golf team competed in the Jekyll Island Invitational this past Friday through Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers finished in 14th place after posting a 1,012 over three rounds. Emma Spencer led the Pioneers with a 43rd place finish. Em shot 86, 79, and 80 for a total of 245 over the invitational. Amira Smiley finished in 54th overall. She shot 84, 79, and 85 to finish just three strokes behind Spencer.
