Following Special Sophomore Season, Skyelar Kerico Named GEC Gymnast of the Year

PHILADELPHIA – There was no stopping sophomore Skyelar Kerico this season, named Gymnast of the Year by the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) and announced Saturday evening after the conclusion of 2024 GEC Championships. Kerico has been a game-changing competitor for the Quakers on all four events this season. Since adding in floor mid-season, she has shattered personal bests and school records in the all-around. This season, the five-time first-team All-GEC selection has earned personal bests of 9.825 on vault, 9.875 on bars, 9.900 on beam and 9.900 on floor.
