Foresters’ Winning Streak Snapped by Carthage

The Lake Forest College women’s tennis team had its five-match winning streak come to an end Sunday night on a 7-2 loss to Carthage College at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff. Junior Sara Lopez provided the Foresters’ first point of the evening with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at #2 singles. The second came from freshman Kate Feist at #3, where she was blanked 6-0 in the first set before taking the second 6-1 and the third set super tiebreaker 10-7.
