Hampden-Sydney Falls 8-1 To Virginia Wesleyan

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. — Junior Matt Kendrick (Birmingham, AL) and freshman Thomas Davis (Charlotte, NC) grabbed a doubles win together but Hampden-Sydney College fell to Virginia Wesleyan University 8-1, Sunday afternoon at the H-SC Tennis Courts. Sophomores John Glassner (Charlotte, NC) and Tanner Allison (Midlothian) were the first doubles match to finish, falling 8-4 in the third slot. In the top doubles match, sophomore Dillon McReynolds (Abingdon) and fellow classmate Casey Coffey (Midlothian) also fell by an 8-4 scoreline.
