Mahoney’s New School Record Is Highlight In Women’s Track and Field’s Effort at UCF Invite

Orlando, FL— The Merrimack Women's Track and Field team participated in the Univeristy of Central Florida invite this past weekend, with a new school record from Ava Mahoney was the highlight. Alana Johnson placed seventh in the Javelin final with a throw of 41.87 meters. Ava Mahoney finished eighth in the 1500 meter final with a new school record time of 4:31.60. Jahaida Gabriel ran a time of 12.62 seconds in the 100 meter dash.
