Men’s Golf Wraps Up Jekyll Island Collegiate

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The sixth-ranked Generals wrapped up the 54-hole Jekyll Island Collegiate tournament on Sunday evening and placed 16th overall. First-year Jonathan McEwen paced the Blue and White with a top-10 finish and tied for seventh place. The rookie finished three strokes over par with a scorecard of 73-71-72–216. The Generals concluded the tournament with a team score of 292-295-314–901 (+49). Rhodes College’s Avery Stansell won the individual leaderboard with rounds of 69, 71 and 69 to finish four strokes under par. Ogelthorpe won the team title 18 strokes over par and a total score of 870.…
