Men’s track and field wins six events at Wesleyan to open outdoor season
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The Bates men’s track and field team got the outdoor season started in impressive fashion Saturday at the Wesleyan Swanson Invitational, winning six events in rainy conditions at the non-scoring meet. Meet Highlights Junior Aydan Gedeon-Hope (Norton, Mass.) made his season debut in track and won the 100-meter dash in 11.25 seconds. He led a 1-2 Bates finish, as junior captain Kevin O’Connor (Milford, Mass.) took second in 11.42 seconds. Junior Truman Williams (Montclair, N.J.) won the 400 meters in 51.02 seconds.
