JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.—Elizabeth Powell earned a spot in the top 50, and the Oglethorpe women’s golf team secured a 13th-place finish in the deep and prestigious field of the Jekyll Island Collegiate, which took place at Jekyll Island Golf Club/Indian Mound Friday through Sunday. Powell had a solid start of 77-79 over her first two rounds. She finished Sunday with an 89 but stayed high enough to remain in the top 50 at 44th overall.
