Women’s Tennis Opens SAA Schedule Victorious, Men’s Tennis Battles in Defeat

JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps women’s tennis program began Southern Athletic Association play in thrilling fashion with a 5-4 victory over Birmingham-Southern at the Coach Montgomery Courts on Saturday. The men’s team were bested by the Panthers, 8-1. Millsaps next will travel to New Albany, Miss. and face Blue Mountain Christian University, beginning at noon on Friday, March 29. Women’s Recap vs. Birmingham-Southern, 5-4, W Senior Madison Williams and graduate Camille Fremaux proved victorious in doubles on Court 2 by an 8-3 score.
