BR softball splits first two region games

The start of Region 11 play was a mixed bag for the defending state champion Bear River softball team, which handled Sky View at home but lost to Ridgeline on the road. Last Tuesday in Garland, the Bears got off to a hot start and took a 3-0 lead in the first inning against the Bobcats.
