Burchfield wins Pac U Multi Decathlon in Forest Grove

FOREST GROVE, Ore. --- Western Oregon's Gabe Burchfield won the Pac U Multi with a 6,000-plus point effort Monday at Hanson Stadium. The junior won the long jump (6.68 meters; 21 feet, 11 inches) and high jump (1.91 meters, 6-03.25) while taking third in the 400 and 110 hurdles - eventually finishing in the top six in all but one event and scored 6,013 points.
