Cutbirth Earns Second League Honors of the Season
RICHARDSON, Texas – UT Dallas junior McKenzie Cutbirth was named the American Southwest Conference Softball Tri-Pitcher of the Week on Monday, her second honor from the league of the season. Cutbirth, from Klein, Texas, went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in her two complete game starts against Sul Ross State. She allowed just an unearned run, three walks and five hits, while striking out five and holding the Lobos to a .109 batting average. Cutbirth recorded a 1-0 shutout on Saturday in the series finale.
