Orono, ME – It was announced on Monday afternoon by collegeinsider.com that Kellen Tynes of the University of Maine men’s basketball program was named a finalist for the Lefty Driesell Defensive Player of the Year award, which is given out annually to the top defensive player in all of the NCAA DI men’s programs.
