SIOUX FALLS — South Dakota State right-hander Nic McCay was honored for the second Monday in a row as the TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Pitcher of the Week. In his March 22 outing against St. Thomas, McCay pitched eight shutout innings in a 1-0 Jackrabbit victory. A senior from Carlisle, Iowa, McCay struck out eight while allowing three hits, one walk and one hit batter.
