Women’s Track Phillips 14th In State So Far In 400 Meters
Pasadena City College women's track and field sprinter Ajes Phillips broke the minute mark in the 400 meters at the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational on Mar. 15 as her 59.97 seconds time places her #4 among South Coast Conference racers and currently #14 in the state. Three 4-year university runners were ahead of her at CSULA meet, but only Cuyamaca's Deja Thomas raced faster at 59.88 as the sophomore Phillips was sixth overall.
