Chargers Mourn the Passing of Women’s Volleyball standout Jenine Berry; Hall of Fame Class of 1993

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven Department of Athletics mourns the loss of New Haven Hall of Fame women's volleyball standout Jenine Berry who passed away peacefully earlier this month after battling stage 4 cancer. A native of the Virgin Islands, Berry transferred to New Haven prior to the 1985 season and made an immediate impact. She led the team in practically every category both seasons she wore a New Haven uniform, registering over 800 kills, 200 total blocks and 400 digs.
