Three Gannon University women's basketball players, Carissa Dunham, Andrea Maibach, and Sam Pirosko, have been honored as members of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team® for their outstanding performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC program recognizes top student-athletes across different divisions, including NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Dunham, a sophomore transfer from Mount St. Mary's, led Gannon in 3-point field goals and maintained a 3.70 GPA. Maibach, a redshirt freshman with a 4.0 GPA, excelled as an accounting and finance double major, while Pirosko, a redshirt senior, garnered numerous postseason honors and boasts a 3.93 GPA as a Health Sciences Physician Assistant major.
