Iona Softball Drops Home Opener to St. John’s

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — After 20 games on the road to start the season, the Iona University softball team its season debut at Donald E. Walsh Field, dropping a 5-0 decision to St. John's on Tuesday afternoon. St. John's offense struck early, scoring the first run in the opening inning on a one-out double to left field.
