Men’s Golf: Oakes named NCAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND — The North Coast Athletic Conference announced Tuesday that Kenyon College first-year Jonathan Oakes was selected as the Golfer of Week based on his performance in the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. During the three-round tournament, which started Friday and concluded Sunday at the par-71 King and Prince Golf Course on St. Simons Island, Georgia, Oakes helped the Owls to a team finish that put them in a tie for 11th place among a field of 30 teams, many of which were nationally-ranked.
