MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Dakyra Howard is the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for March 18-24. Howard, a freshman from Homestead, Fla., qualified for the NAIA national championship in the triple jump. She did so with the No. 7-ranked mark in the country. Howard leaped 11.73 meters at the Margaret Simmons Invitational to hit the NAIA A qualifying standard. That placed second at the meet and is in control of the RSC lead.
