NCCU’s Cleveland Awarded NABC All-District First Team Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Fred Cleveland Jr. of the North Carolina Central University men's basketball team earned his third postseason first-team recognition named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District First Team. Cleveland (Sr., 5-9, Chicago, Ill.) averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 assists per game leading the Eagles in both categories. His assists average led the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference this past season. Players were voted to their respective district teams by NABC-member coaches around Division-I basketball.
