PRATTVILLE, Ala. – The eighth-ranked Washington and Lee University Generals finished the Capitol Hill Classic in fifth place after early morning weather delayed and shortened the second round. The field of 12 teams played only the front nine holes to complete a 27-hole tournament. W&L added four strokes to the team score and finished 30 strokes over par with a scorecard of 314-148–462. Top-ranked Carnegie Mellon maintained the top position and finished 11 strokes over par. Through the front nine today, the Tartans finished six strokes under par.
