Rankin named PAC’s Newcomer of the Week

Robert Hayes TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College freshman Katie Rose Rankin (Sewickley, Pa., North Allegheny) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week Tuesday afternoon. Rankin has been honored six times this season as the league's newcomer of the week and also earned PAC Player of the Week honors on Sept. 26. Rankin finished in 13th place with a score of 85 at the University of Mount Union's Spring Invitational Sunday. The six-team, 39-competitor event was played at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.
