Seawolf hoops duo tabbed Academic All-District

After helping their teams to successful seasons on the court, Alaska Anchorage basketball players Tyson Gilbert and Kate Robertson were honored Tuesday for their hard work in the classroom, earning selection to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams. A junior from Casper, Wyo., Robertson carries a 3.93 overall grade-point average as a health sciences major. On the court, she averaged 4.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game for a UAA squad that went 19-9 and placed third in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
